How We Test Each Product
Every product we review goes through the same straightforward process. We look at how easy it is to open, how much strength or dexterity is required, and whether the packaging design is truly practical for everyday use.
We also consider the readability of the packaging — including font size, clarity of instructions, and whether important information is easy to find and understand.
Our goal is simple: to provide honest, real-world feedback about how accessible and user-friendly a product is, without exaggeration or gimmicks.

Why We Do This
We started Help, I Can’t Open It! after realizing that simple, everyday tasks were becoming far more difficult than they should be. Opening a jar of pickles, a bottle, or even a package delivered to the door often required more strength and dexterity than we had. Packaging for medications, household products, and basic groceries felt unnecessarily complicated. Even reading the instructions or product information could be frustrating when the print was tiny or difficult to decipher.
What should have been routine was becoming stressful and discouraging.
It quickly became clear that we were not alone. Many people face these same challenges every day.
So we decided to turn that frustration into something constructive. We began searching for solutions, identifying products that are truly easy to open, and celebrating brands that design with real people in mind.
This platform exists to advocate for smarter packaging design, spotlight companies that get it right, and share practical tools that make everyday life easier.
Because something as simple as opening or reading a package should never feel impossible.
